77% of cheating men have a good friend who cheated.
Hanging around friends who stray makes cheating seem normal and legitimizes it as a possibility. The message he’s subconsciously telling himself: My friend is a good guy who happens to be cheating on his wife. I guess even the best of us do it. Build your social circle around happily married couples that share your values — it’ll create an environment that supports marriage.

40% of cheating men met the other woman at work.
“Oftentimes the woman he cheats with at the office is someone who praises him, looks up to him, and compliments his efforts,” Neuman says. Luckily, there’s a clear warning sign that your husband is getting a little too cozy with a colleague: If he praises or mentions the name of a female coworker more than he would a male counterpart, your antennae should go up — and it’s time for the two of you to set boundaries about what is and isn’t okay at work, Neuman says. Only 12% of cheating men said their mistress was more physically attractive than their wife.
In other words, a man doesn’t stray because he thinks he’ll get better sex with a better-looking body. “In most cases, he’s cheating to fill an emotional void,” Neuman says. “He feels a connection with the other woman, and sex comes along for the ride.” If you’re worried about infidelity, focus on making your relationship more loving and connected, not on getting your body just right or mastering new sexual positions.

Only 6% of cheating men had sex with a woman after meeting her that same day or night.
Actually, 73 percent of men got to know the other woman for more than a month before they cheated. This means that you may have time to see the warning signs before infidelity occurs — you might even see it coming before he does.

These may start as little brush fires, small issues and arguments
over how and where money is being spent…or not spent.

Then, maybe because of the heat and pressure of these
financial fires one partner starts ‘escaping’ more than

He escapes into TV, Video Games, Alcohol, Cyber
Porn…or worse?

Now…what do we have?

We’ve got two fires smoldering away and soon to be a third because
the other partner is starting to feel lonely and isolated.

Can you almost feel the pressure?

Now with three fires off to a crackling start there’s
even greater risk of fire and damage spreading to other areas.

So? Just which fire do we put out first?

Our financial fire? Our financial blaze seems pretty tough to

So maybe we should start with the escapism? That seems
like an easy fire to put out…IF you’re not the one escaping!

…and try telling someone that’s feeling lonely and isolated
that “they should just snap out of it” is like throwing fuel
into the fire.

So where do we begin when we don’t see any
good place to start? And we finally realize that
trying to stomp out all our blazes at once actually spreads
the fire?…FASTER!

The answer is…

Unlike fighting a REAL fire, we start where there
IS NO FIRE.

Yes, start where there is absolutely no smoke, no heat
and no flame.

What we need to do is stop focusing on the problem(s)
and focus on where we still have passion…even if
it’s just a little.

Find even the tiniest things you both enjoy doing
together, ACTIVELY put your problems aside and begin to
rebuild the passion between you.

And do you know what invariably happens? Often once you’ve
rekindled the passion between you…the PROBLEMS will often work
themselves out.

The fires extinguish themselves.

Here’s how it may play out using our example;

Tom and Cindy both love cooking together.

They both actively decide to let their problems
go and NOT worry about them for awhile, but to start
by cooking dinner together and EATING together at
the dinner table…EVERY night.

Often because they’ve had such a great time cooking
and eating together…they play some cards or monopoly
afterwards and share some laughs and have a little fun.

Now, because Cindy isn’t feeling so isolated because
Tom’s always watching TV or surfing the web…

That little bit of fun turns into love making a little
more often.

Which in part…leads to…

Tom starting to feel better, finds new confidence,
and as his confidence builds… Tom gets more assertive
about finding work.

Soon…

Tom lands what maybe not the best job in the world, but one
that relieves a lot of the financial pressure until he
can find his perfect fit.

And before your very eyes…

Where Tom and Cindy’s relationship was about to burst
into flames…

Now, they are rising from the rubble with
a stronger and more fire proof marriage than ever before.

The moral of the story is that with enough PASSION
couples can overcome most any problem including affairs, drug use,
even death in the family.

Everyone from family to friends consider themselves relationship experts when dealing with a break up. I know this because I had to sit and listen to all of their advice after my relationship failed. Bristol Palin had a good support group around her and Levi Johnston’s family was by his side also during their ordeal. However, a lot of people go in deep depression after a bad break up because they are not capable to handle this crisis by themselves.

In addition, some people wallow in sadness for weeks. They might play their favorite sad songs over and over and cry like a baby. I knew a friend who went through this same scenario. She would go out and buy her favorite movies, watch them every night and also sift through her old photo albums. If you do this for a short period of time for example, one to two weeks after the split up, then these actions may be good for the soul as you purge the sadness and try to deal with it.

However, you should NOT indulge yourself into this sad state of mind for a long time. It can become very unhealthy for you mentally and physically as you pretend everything is okay.

I know personally that some people fake it and put on an act and try to fool their family and friends that they are over the break up and now they are happy. They act as if they are not bothered by the break up, and that life goes on as normal. They may start dating right way and try to find another girlfriend or boyfriend too soon.

This is just denial, and the unwillingness to feel the sadness and pain that accompanies a failed relationship is not natural.

There are better ways to deal with this situation and here are  suggestions:

1. Go Out: This is one method used by Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston after their break up. Get out of the house and enjoy yourself. Make sure your date knows your situation, and that you are going out just for fun and friendship right now.

Now, I must say this….

There are some people who jump out of one relationship and begin dating seriously. I am not suggesting to you to start dating romantically. NO, NO, NO…..you need to give your self more time. However, just going out with someone and having a good time is a huge stress reliever and will help you start the healing process..

2. Hang out with close friends and family. These are people you feel very comfortable around and therefore, you can choose great places to visit such as amusement parks, museum, zoo, movie theater, skating, sports event, concert, billards, bowling…and the list goes on and on.

3. Have a house party! This is one of the best ideas when trying to get over a break up. Invite your friends and ask them to invite some of their friends, too. And who knows? You may meet someone interesting at your house party. It happened to me and we had a wonderful relationship.

4. Start a new hobby or career. Bristol Palin is a new single mother of a beautiful baby boy, Tripp, and she will be working with the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy and the Candie’s Foundation to inform young people about the negative consequences of teenage pregnancy. Levi Johnston started a modeling career and may be pursuing movie roles.

So, as you can see, Bristol and Levi was mature and strong enough to get on with their lives after their break up.

You need to start over and work out what caused the argument, but before you can begin again and reach the discussion point, you have to clear the air.  Women need to spend a little time with their girlfriends and just enjoy each others company.
